Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 12 oz pasta e.g., fettuccine or egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and allspice. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  • Brown meatballs in olive oil until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter, add flour, and cook until lightly browned.
  • Gradually whisk in beef broth, cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Add meatballs back to skillet.
  • Combine pasta with sauce and meatballs. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Ensure meatballs are fully cooked before adding to the sauce.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days or frozen for longer storage.
