- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 12 oz pasta e.g., fettuccine or egg noodles
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and allspice. Shape into 1-inch meatballs. 
- Brown meatballs in olive oil until cooked through. Remove and set aside. 
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add flour, and cook until lightly browned. 
- Gradually whisk in beef broth, cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened. 
- Season with salt and pepper. Add meatballs back to skillet. 
- Combine pasta with sauce and meatballs. Garnish with parsley and serve hot. 
- Ensure meatballs are fully cooked before adding to the sauce.
- Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days or frozen for longer storage.
