Ingredients
  

Corn Mixture:

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Cream Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Saute Garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Cook Corn: Stir in the corn and cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through and tender.
  • Add Cream Mixture: Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, whole milk, ground nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Simmer gently for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly.
  • Finish Dish: Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or smoked paprika.
