Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 lb 450g ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 tbsp 6g onion powder
  • 1 tsp 3g garlic powder
  • 1 tsp 6g salt
  • ½ tsp 2g black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices 150g American cheese, halved
  • 1 cup 70g shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup 40g sliced pickles
  • ½ cup 120ml mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup 60ml ketchup
  • 2 tbsp 30g sweet relish
  • 1 tbsp 15ml yellow mustard

Instructions

Preheat the Skillet

  • I preheat a nonstick skillet or grill over medium-high heat.

Prepare the Beef Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, I combine 1 lb ground beef, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, and ½ tsp black pepper, mixing until just combined to keep the patties tender.

Form Patties

  • I divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each into a small, flat patty, about 2 inches wide.

Cook the Patties

  • I cook the patties in the skillet for 3–4 minutes per side until they reach my desired doneness. In the last minute, I place half a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Make the Special Sauce

  • In a small bowl, I whisk together ½ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup ketchup, 2 tbsp sweet relish, and 1 tbsp yellow mustard until smooth.

Assemble the Sliders

  • On each slider bun, I spread a spoonful of special sauce, add a patty, top with shredded lettuce and 2 pickle slices, then place the top bun.

Serve

  • I arrange the sliders on a platter and serve warm, ready to enjoy!
