Ingredients

  • 1 can 20 oz crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping such as Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional

Instructions

  • Mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form the crust.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in the whipped topping and drained pineapple, mixing until well combined.
  • Spread the pineapple mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust in the baking dish.
  • If desired, sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for added texture and flavor.
  • Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours, or until it firms up.
  • Once chilled, slice and serve!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add fresh fruit like strawberries or blueberries on top.
  • If graham crackers are unavailable, you can substitute with crushed cookies like vanilla wafers or digestive biscuits.
  • If you prefer a nut-free option, skip the walnuts or use coconut flakes for a tropical twist.
  • Make ahead: You can prepare this dessert the day before serving for better flavor.
  • This dessert stores well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
