Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups sour cream light sour cream can be used
  • 1 packet about 1 ounce dry onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or 1 teaspoon dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or additional fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Mix softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  • Stir in dry onion soup mix, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
