Instructions
Mix Cream Cheese Filling
In a small bowl, I combine 8 oz softened cream cheese, 2 tsp dried chives, 2 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, and ⅛ tsp black pepper. I mix until smooth and creamy.
Prepare Salami
I lay out 12 salami slices on a clean cutting board in a single layer.
Spread Filling
I spread a generous layer of cream cheese mixture evenly over each salami slice, covering the entire surface without overloading.
Roll Up
Starting from one end, I tightly roll each salami slice, ensuring the filling stays secure inside.
Secure and Garnish
I insert a toothpick into each roll to hold it together. Optionally, I garnish toothpicks with a green olive, pickle, or cherry tomato for a tangy touch.
Serve
I arrange the roll ups on a platter and serve immediately, chilled or at room temperature, with pretzels on the side if desired.
