Ingredients
  

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb 450g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • ¼ cup 60ml water
  • 1 ½ cups 150g shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup 50g shredded mozzarella cheese

For the Dough:

  • 1 tube 8 oz/226g refrigerated pizza dough

For the Topping:

  • 2 tbsp 28g unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried parsley optional

For Serving:

  • Salsa or sour cream for dipping

Instructions
 

Preheat and Prep Pan

  • I preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). I line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent these taco cheese rolls from sticking.

Cook Taco Filling

  • In a skillet over medium heat, I brown 1 lb ground beef until crumbly and cooked through, draining excess grease. I add 1 tbsp taco seasoning and ¼ cup water, stirring until thick, then cool slightly for easy assembly of these savory taco sticks.

Shape Dough

  • I unroll 1 tube pizza dough and cut it into 8 equal rectangles using a pizza cutter, ensuring even Taco Snack Bites for consistent baking.

Fill and Fold

  • I place a spoonful of taco beef and a sprinkle of 1 ½ cups cheddar and ½ cup mozzarella in each rectangle’s center. I fold the dough over, pinching edges to seal, and roll into sticks, keeping the filling snug for gooey Cheesy Taco Sticks.

Brush and Bake

  • I place the sticks seam-side down on the baking sheet, brush with 2 tbsp melted butter, and sprinkle with ½ tsp garlic powder and optional ½ tsp parsley. I bake for 10–12 minutes until golden, then cool slightly for perfect taco cheese rolls.
