Ingredients

For the Oats:

  • ½ cup 45g old-fashioned rolled oats
  • cup 160ml milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • ¼ cup 60g Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt for dairy-free)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp sprinkles plus extra for topping
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:

  • Extra sprinkles
  • Whipped cream or coconut whipped cream
  • Chopped nuts

Instructions

Mix the Base

  • In a mason jar or bowl, I combine ½ cup oats, ⅔ cup milk, ¼ cup Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp honey, ½ tsp vanilla, and a pinch of salt. I stir until smooth, then gently fold in 1 tsp sprinkles to keep colors vibrant for this celebration oat breakfast.

Chill Overnight

  • I cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to soften the oats and blend flavors for this party-inspired oats.

Add Toppings and Serve

  • In the morning, I stir the oats, adding a splash of milk if needed. I top with extra sprinkles, a dollop of whipped cream, or nuts for a festive Birthday Cake Overnight Oats, served cold or warmed for 30–45 seconds.

Notes

  • Use old-fashioned rolled oats for best texture.
  •  Avoid overloading with sprinkles — they can dissolve overnight.
  • Stir well after chilling if liquid separates.
  • Keep refrigerated up to 4 days or freeze in portions for up to 1 month.
