Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup banana pudding mix instant
  • 1/2 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and banana pudding mix.
  • Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Stir in the mashed bananas until fully incorporated into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.
  • If using mini chocolate chips, sprinkle them over the top of the batter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For a chocolatey twist, add more mini  chocolate chips or swirl some melted chocolate into the batter before baking.
  • For a crunchy texture, add chopped nuts such as walnuts or pecans.
  • For a stronger banana flavor, increase the amount of mashed bananas to 3/4 cup or 1 cup.
  • To make these brownies gluten-free, use a gluten-free flour blend and check the pudding mix for gluten.
