Ingredients

  • 2 chicken fillets about 1 lb/450g, trimmed and patted dry
  • 2 tbsp 30ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp 6g ground cumin
  • 1 tsp 3g smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp 3g ground coriander
  • 1 tsp 3g garlic powder
  • 1 tsp 3g onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat Air Fryer

  • I preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes to ensure even cooking and a crispy exterior.

Prepare Spice Mixture

  • In a medium bowl, I combine 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp coriander, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper, mixing until smooth.

Coat Chicken

  • I add 2 chicken fillets to the spice mixture, coating them thoroughly with tongs or my hands to ensure bold flavor in every bite.

Cook Chicken

  • I place the coated fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap. I cook for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Rest and Serve

  • I remove the fillets, let them rest for 5 minutes to seal in juices, then slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust spices according to preference.
  • Serve with a side of vegetables or rice.
